The Food Forum for Industry and Government in Southwestern Ontario (FFIGS) is organized by a Steering Committee of volunteers focused on promoting and sharing knowledge, awareness, understanding and innovative ideas on food safety and quality. The Committee membership is comprised of food industry representatives and all three levels of government (i.e. municipal, provincial, and federal). An Annual FFIGS Educational Workshop is held on the first Wednesday in May. The purpose of the FFIGS Steering Committee is to organize an annual educational workshop to facilitate timely communication and information sharing on issues relating to food safety and quality and to provide networking opportunities for workshop participants. Join us in September this year for the annual Food Forum for Industry and Government in Southwestern Ontario (FFIGS) symposium! To be held in person on Wednesday September 27th, 2023! We will be collecting non-perisable food items for donation at the door!
